Tommy Igoe's Birdland Big Band is the hottest
big band in New York. The band plays every Friday
night at the Birdland Jazz Club in Manhattan
from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Each week, the band
features special guests such as bass icons Will
Lee and Tom Kennedy, Harmonica
extraordinaire Rob Paparozzi and percussion
virtuoso Rolando Morales-Matos for the now
incredibly popular "Latin Night." Each and every
week is a completely different show and surprise
guests often appear unannounced.
